  • Welcome to my world.

    Welcome!

Go ahead, grab a snack and something to drink. You may be here awhile as you take a journey through life as my camera sees it. I believe it's the luckiest camera around as it frequently captures the most beautiful people I've ever met. It frequently encounters things like the innocence of a newborn just getting started in life or the love and beauty of a couple exchanging vows beginning a new life together.

Unique in your own way, and more beautiful than all the rest.. this is your life and how it's capture it is up to You!

My goal is to not only create beautiful images and capture moments but for my images to tell a story. Sometimes the most cherished memories aren't the big events- but the little moments that happened in between.

I capture moments as I see them unfold, I'll give you prompts if needed but encourage a very relaxed environment where you are free to be yourself. I want the images I capture to reflect you and the emotions of that moment to be felt just as they were the moment they happened.

If you have any questions- I'd love to hear from you! You can view my portfolio here: http://lightlovelaughter.com . I absolutely LOVE getting emails... so feel free to shoot me one here:

Another Beautiful Day at Lake Tahoe

A collection of pictures taken over a couple of days spent with the kids at Lake Tahoe. One afternoon we went to a beach/park area and played for the afternoon. The kids love playing in the sand and water, but they also enjoy being on the playground. Hope you enjoy a look into one fun filled afternoon!

The natural beauty here is indescribable.

The view at breakfast.

They were discussing a strategy to catch minnows. Owen had tried his best and hadn’t had any luck- so he was trying to recruit his sister.

A neat view of the lake through the trees.

She has so many different expressions!

The beach and the lake all in one.

Duncan was content for a very long time laying on the grass covered with the towel studying nature. He absolutely is fascinated by trees and natural beauty!

I made a bird feeder with the kids out of a pine cone and popcorn and we got to watch these two beautiful birds enjoy it and converse with one another. So cool!

This is how blue the lake gets about mid afternoon. I didn’t touch this picture at all! It’s crazy cool :)
