  • Welcome to my world.

    Welcome!

Go ahead, grab a snack and something to drink. You may be here awhile as you take a journey through life as my camera sees it. I believe it's the luckiest camera around as it frequently captures the most beautiful people I've ever met. It frequently encounters things like the innocence of a newborn just getting started in life or the love and beauty of a couple exchanging vows beginning a new life together.

Unique in your own way, and more beautiful than all the rest.. this is your life and how it's capture it is up to You!

My goal is to not only create beautiful images and capture moments but for my images to tell a story. Sometimes the most cherished memories aren't the big events- but the little moments that happened in between.

I capture moments as I see them unfold, I'll give you prompts if needed but encourage a very relaxed environment where you are free to be yourself. I want the images I capture to reflect you and the emotions of that moment to be felt just as they were the moment they happened.

If you have any questions- I'd love to hear from you! You can view my portfolio here: http://lightlovelaughter.com . I absolutely LOVE getting emails... so feel free to shoot me one here:

Simon Family

I don’t know of a more beautiful place to do pictures than here at Lake Tahoe. Jennifer’s brother and his family came to visit, and while they were here I had the opportunity to take family pictures for them. :) We went down to the beach and just kinda strolled and let the girls explore. These little ones have the most beautiful brown eyes you’ve ever seen! What a fun family, I had a great time spending the morning with them. :)

We’ll start with a couple of my favorites.

They hiked their dresses up to keep them dry- it was too cute. :)

I love the expression on Doug’s face in this picture. He admires his little girls so much!

Still keeping that dress dry- even when the water is up to her thigh!

Grandma, Granddaughter, and Mother strolling along the beach.

Pilar’s parents were also in town. What a privileged to meet them! (Her dad was a Organic Chemistry Professor, so we had a bit in common). They are such a wonderful family and such fun people. I’m so glad they were able to join us and “sneak” into some of the pictures! :)

You can’t help but admire such a cute little girl!

Crash Landing!!

What a great family! I’m so glad I got to meet you, and thank you for allowing me to capture your beautiful family!
