I’ve never been to Las Vegas until this weekend. My husband and I made a quick dash to the city of lights and gambling. I didn’t realize how BIG Vegas is. The casinos are endless, the crowds are crazy, and after walking a hundred miles we still didn’t make it to see all the different buildings. I promise the strip goes on forever! I’m excited to go back this Winter and hang out with other photographers at WPPI. :) Although I was ready to go home, I had a lot of fun and look forward to going back in March.
Beautiful Water Shows to…

Caesar’s Palace in Rome, Italy…

These men line the entire rim of the mall area. Yes, the clouds are painted and this is all indoors!

He looks pretty jolly.

A display at one of the sports stores.

Then I jumped on a train and went to Paris. :)

We went to see “KA” by Circ u Soleil, it was a theatrical spectacular if that’s what you’re into, but we went home extremely disappointed. It didn’t live up to the trailer we had watched online, and was far less impressive after seeing their traveling act in Atlanta last year. The stage set was pretty spectacular though.

Best part of the show. I grabbed this picture, as they aren’t very big fans of having the audience take pictures. (I believe it’s due to the flash, so I went without).

Day 2.
I’ve always wanted to experience riding in a helicopter, and see the Grand Canyon, or the Hoover Dam, and Lake Mead, so we did it all in one afternoon! :) We boarded a flight with 6 others and the pilot and took our tour all the way out to the Canyon and then came back and flew along side the strip. Totally awesome and definitely the highlight of the trip!

Hoover Dam!

They are building another bridge over the gorge, it looks like it’s coming along pretty well.

Lake Mead- absolutely beautiful but the water level is more than 100 lower than it’s average height.

It was absolutely beautiful. The Colorado River looks pretty peaceful here.

It’s so HUGE! So cool to be able to get a shot straight down the gorge. Truly puts the size into perspective.

We had a great time with our front row seat tour! :)

MGM is home to 5,005 rooms, KA, and a huge casino!

The Vegas Strip from the air.

WOW.. the pressure it takes to shoot that much water that high. It sounds like shot guns going off!
