  • Welcome to my world.

    Welcome!

Go ahead, grab a snack and something to drink. You may be here awhile as you take a journey through life as my camera sees it. I believe it's the luckiest camera around as it frequently captures the most beautiful people I've ever met. It frequently encounters things like the innocence of a newborn just getting started in life or the love and beauty of a couple exchanging vows beginning a new life together.

Unique in your own way, and more beautiful than all the rest.. this is your life and how it's capture it is up to You!

My goal is to not only create beautiful images and capture moments but for my images to tell a story. Sometimes the most cherished memories aren't the big events- but the little moments that happened in between.

I capture moments as I see them unfold, I'll give you prompts if needed but encourage a very relaxed environment where you are free to be yourself. I want the images I capture to reflect you and the emotions of that moment to be felt just as they were the moment they happened.

If you have any questions- I'd love to hear from you! You can view my portfolio here: http://lightlovelaughter.com . I absolutely LOVE getting emails... so feel free to shoot me one here:

Cooper Family

Ahhh, the Cooper Family. I know I’ve said it before but I’m so lucky to always have such fun and beautiful families willing to get in front of my lens. It makes my job so easy! ;) I met The Coopers at Piedmont Park and we spent a couple of hours walking around and capturing some great pictures of the girls and the family together. While we were chatting I discovered Kara went completed her Masters in Nebraska (Go Huskers!), it’s always fun to find someone that’s been to your home state when you live so far from home. I had so much fun with these girls, Kara and David and can’t wait to see them again next year! :) Make sure to check out all the fun in the slide show that follows!

Such a beautiful little girl…

Such a neat picture of daddy and his girl.

Can you tell she’s discovering her independence?

Love this!

This one is too cute.

She just figured out how to give a real kiss… and decided she’s let me get a picture of her kissing her daddy. :)
