The past couple of weeks have been crazy as I prepared for some big life changes. I’ve been working really hard behind the scenes and it’s finally time I get to let you all see it! :)
Yesterday was officially my last day as a nanny. Weird!? I’m going to miss the kids more than life itself but am so very excited for what the future holds… I’m full of mixed emotions right now that range from joy to sadness and pure excitement and full of nervousness! It came time to resign from my position and more forward on this journey in life of being a photographer. I’ve been excited and anxious for the day to come and it’s finally here! (even though it still doesn’t seem real)
To celebrate the official start of my new career why not bring out the next big news?
Over the past several months… (actually since last October) I’ve been working seriously thinking about my company the name of that company, who and what I am about and the experience I want to deliver to my clients.
L3 Photography is fun, and it’s catchy and easy to remember but it doesn’t do a very good job at describing what I’m about. So I decided to forever be known and remembered as Light Love Laughter Photography. It’s a little longer but so much more descriptive. With the help of an amazing and wonderfully talented graphic designer Mark Hobbs. We started with just a basic concept and he created a logo and colors and the start to a brand that I couldn’t be more excited about!!!
The only big change is the name… a Really FUN logo… and some Sweet colors to match! Oh.. and it’s my JOB now… :) I can go take pictures anytime I’m needed and go on the road shooting pictures and not have to be back by Monday!
In the future look for a newly designed website and a few more products that are in the works as well. :)
I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me. It’s truly a gift I’ve been given and I’m blessed enough to share it with others. Photography is a far cry from anything in the science lab, DNA, and Physical Chemistry but they both have something in common… they present challenges. I love being challenged and being able to challenge myself to learn and push to be different, unique, and think outside the box. In science that’s something you do everyday and in photography it’s something I make a choice to do everyday. :)
Let me know what you think of the new design… 2010 is going to be an AMAZING year! :)
And because no post is complete without a picture.. here’s just a sample of little Nora and her beauty. She’ll showcase the blog soon.. so stay tuned!
