  • Welcome to my world.

    Welcome!

Go ahead, grab a snack and something to drink. You may be here awhile as you take a journey through life as my camera sees it. I believe it's the luckiest camera around as it frequently captures the most beautiful people I've ever met. It frequently encounters things like the innocence of a newborn just getting started in life or the love and beauty of a couple exchanging vows beginning a new life together.

Unique in your own way, and more beautiful than all the rest.. this is your life and how it's capture it is up to You!

My goal is to not only create beautiful images and capture moments but for my images to tell a story. Sometimes the most cherished memories aren't the big events- but the little moments that happened in between.

I capture moments as I see them unfold, I'll give you prompts if needed but encourage a very relaxed environment where you are free to be yourself. I want the images I capture to reflect you and the emotions of that moment to be felt just as they were the moment they happened.

If you have any questions- I'd love to hear from you! You can view my portfolio here: http://lightlovelaughter.com . I absolutely LOVE getting emails... so feel free to shoot me one here:

Ryan + Helen

I met Ryan and Helen at Berry College for their engagement session. I’ve had so much fun with these two and am so excited to be part of their wedding in just a few more weeks! Ryan called me about a week before he proposed to Helen and asked if I’d like to come with my camera. I was so excited and had so much fun sneaking around and hiding in the bushes.. and behind a tree that wasn’t too far away when the big moment finally happen… (see more here).

This afternoon was a bit chilly, actually it was much like the day he proposed and it was downright cold, BUT they were so enthusiastic and between all the smiles and laughter we all really forgot about just how chilly it was. Ryan doesn’t have a serious bone in his body and Helen completes all his laughter, jokes, and doesn’t miss a beat of the fun! I met Ryan in college and have really enjoyed getting to know the future Mrs. Simmons over the past couple of months. They are a true pleasure and joy to work with and I couldn’t be more excited to see where life takes them together.

[...] you Ryan and Helen for allowing me to be a part of your journey from boyfriend and girlfriend to fiancee and fiancee and now  to man and wife. I’ve loved every minute of it and wish you all the greatest [...]
