  • Welcome to my world.

    Welcome!

Go ahead, grab a snack and something to drink. You may be here awhile as you take a journey through life as my camera sees it. I believe it's the luckiest camera around as it frequently captures the most beautiful people I've ever met. It frequently encounters things like the innocence of a newborn just getting started in life or the love and beauty of a couple exchanging vows beginning a new life together.

Unique in your own way, and more beautiful than all the rest.. this is your life and how it's capture it is up to You!

My goal is to not only create beautiful images and capture moments but for my images to tell a story. Sometimes the most cherished memories aren't the big events- but the little moments that happened in between.

I capture moments as I see them unfold, I'll give you prompts if needed but encourage a very relaxed environment where you are free to be yourself. I want the images I capture to reflect you and the emotions of that moment to be felt just as they were the moment they happened.

If you have any questions- I'd love to hear from you! You can view my portfolio here: http://lightlovelaughter.com . I absolutely LOVE getting emails... so feel free to shoot me one here:

Snow Days…

After growing up in real blizzards and where we measure snowfall in feet and not inches and on some days we literally had to take a tractor to school because although the highway was clear our roads we were snowed in… I’m still amused at how even a forecast of snow can cancel school days in advance and how so many get nervous about the roads and the weather. I’ve lived in Georgia for 7 years now and have seen more snow flurries this Winter than ever before. Everyone still talks about the blizzard of ’93 or ’94 and when snow is in the forecast the blizzard from years and years ago seems to always be mentioned in conversation…

This weekend was no blizzard BUT the snow did actually cover the ground and everything did become white. :) It started as a really wet and heavy snowfall and it fell hard for a couple of hours but mostly melted once it hit the ground. This is always fun as it leaves a sheet of ice hidden beneath the surface…

Snow makes the middle of winter so beautiful!

I couldn’t leave Maggie out of this post. She was right out there with me racing and chasing through the snow… trying to figure out where all her grass went! Once she found it was under the snow she proceeded to plow the snow away… literally using her nose! Here she’s practicing her acrobatics and leaping through the air.
