August has come and gone so quickly- I just haven’t quite figured out where time goes! I’ve been hard at work editing and posting pictures I’ve taken over the past couple of weeks and at the same time I’ve been busy steadily booking weddings, holiday sessions, scheduling engagement sessions and working on some REALLY exciting events and additions I can’t wait to announce! :)
Right before I flew home I had the privilege of shooting with a new friend and photographer- Sarah Esther. We had a lot of fun at this wedding and Brian and Lisa were so sweet, full of passion and expression- huge smiles and giggles and so in love- they are really any photographer’s dream. :) Thank you to Brian and Lisa for allowing me to help tell your story and to Sarah for inviting me to come along. Congrats to Brian and Lisa- Enjoy!
The bridal suite at Peachtree Presbyterian was absolutely beautiful with vintage couches and chairs and lots of mirrors!

I love using mirrors to gain new perspectives and catch pictures when no one is watching! ;)

A prayer of blessing over the marriage minutes before the ceremony starts.

He’s a pretty happy groom!

Love this one..

Oh and this one.. makes me wonder what Lisa was thinking as she looked at her dad as they headed down the aisle.

So the church only allowed one photographer during the ceremony… but their was this tiny crack in the door….

So Beautiful!

Their reception was at 103 West.

As an assistant photographer.. it’s all about the details- and I love taking a little time and letting the creative juices flow.. but sometimes it’s the simple and classy pictures that really stand out.

Their first dance was so sweet!

His mom knows how to dance! There was no slow dance here..

It was a party all night long!

So many moments and memories are shared during the toasts… this night was especially fun and endearing as even the groom got up and made a toast not only to his family and friends but to his new wife as well. :)

LOVE THIS!
