This is my rockstar friend Kate.
I believe it’s fate that brought us together…
and since the day we met we’ve been fast friends.
She’s beautiful, funny, smart, gorgeous, energetic, caring, kind, fun, spunky and has an adventuresome spirit.
and she has a heart of gold to match.
remember I said she’s fun and energetic? These are some of the many expressions and faces of Kate.

She knows how to laugh… and laugh a lot… it’s when she has these giant smiles her beauty is truly revealed.
But even in the silence and in the calm.. her sweet and gentle spirit shines through her beautiful hazel eyes.
This is one of my favorites.

and yet humble and meek.

Totally spontaneous and silly
maybe even a little crazy?
We met when my husband spoke in her graduate class.. I happened to go along with him as I hadn’t been back to Berry in awhile and at dinner afterward we started chatting.. she’d mentioned she has a passion for branding and I was in the midst of branding my business so it provided the instant connection. She said she’d be happy to help me in any way she could and it wasn’t long before I took her up on her offer and asked if she’d meet me for coffee.. our conversation quickly moved beyond marketing and branding and we started chatting about life and school and family and jobs and our significant others. Coffee was followed by dinner… it was one of those conversations that could have gone all night but life was calling so we decided we’d just have to do lunch again soon….
Fast forward several months and our friendship continues to grow. Kate is one of the sweetest girls I’ve met and her joy is contagious- you can’t help but smile when she’s around! We’d been talking about going out together and taking pictures for awhile and it just so happened to work out this past weekend.
Between driving over curbs (this time it wasn’t me!), horns being honked and guys whistling… we had a great time! She even had a slightly dramatic telephone conversation…
thankfully no phones, aprons or people were injured during this conversation.
Thank you Kate for taking the time to spend with me Sunday morning.. you are much more of a morning person than I… but it was sooo worth getting up and at ‘em. I’m already looking forward to our next adventure. :-D
