I’ve been awaiting this day for what feels like… years.
It started months ago- in fact more than a year ago was the first time I started thinking about undergoing to “rebranding project”. Change is fun- sometimes but the more establish a company becomes the BIGGER the project becomes.
From the early days I’ve enjoyed my previous business name (light love laughter photography) but I’ll admit it’s quite the tongue twister to get straight, it’s fun but it’s a whole lot to remember and at the end of the day my clients know me as “tessa” and not as ___ company.
Back in June the process began with a name, a concept board and the logo design. I knew this wasn’t something I want to revisit anytime soon and therefore it was one big decision after another. I grew weary at times but I learned so much about myself, and my amazing clients but I also learned more about my style- my niche as an artist (me and artist is something I never thought I’d ever see in the same sentence haha). Where I see myself as a wedding photographer, how I see my future and what I want to be known for. This was just the tip of the iceberg.. but I won’t bore you with the details!
After lots of soul searching, brainstorming and countless hours spent on Pintrest I was ready to hire Flosites. Let’s be honest- I was pretty frustrated at this point, I was tired and to top it off I was in the midst of the Fall wedding season. I was ready to throw the towel in and scrap the whole thing… but then I spoke with Ross and it changed my world. Exaggeration I kid you not!
He was reassuring, he listened to my frustrations of the experience I’d had thus far with another company and explained how his team at Flosites works much differently. They encourage their clients to share in the design process and he was confident that his team could do everything I had envisioned for my new site/identity/brand.
I took a deep breath and jumped in with Flosites and never looked back. Their team is always ready and willing to answer questions, offer support and the most important part is that they LISTEN. They made sure they understood my vision before they went to work- and the results reflected exactly that.
A simple Thank you just doesn’t seem like enough for Ross, Sasha, Mary, Victor and Alina. To Ross and Sasha you guys are absolutely amazing- Sasha is the creative behind the design and brought life and more to so many of my wild ideas I truly can’t thank him enough!
To my dear friends who have been so supportive and provided honest critique and feedback along the way- thank you.
To You- my light love laughter family… You are now all welcome to join the new family of tessa marie weddings!- to all the amazing couples I’m lucky enough to consider friends a special thanks goes to you too- you’re the reason I’m here today.
With excitement that would parallel a Senior on graduation day- or a bride on the eve of her wedding… I give you the new face of light love laughter photography-better known as tessa marie weddings.
