Hey everyone! You may have wondered where I’ve been- the blog hasn’t been nearly as active in recent weeks and what’s been up with all these “behind the scenes” Facebook posts?
Over a year ago I started thinking about changing my business name again but I resisted then I got serious again in June and decided it was now or never. I’d been watching google analytics and chatting with previous and current brides and grooms and some startling facts started to be seen over and over again.
Very few when asked directly what the name of my company was could get all three words correct- the right words in the right order. This was seen both when people are searching for us online and when speaking to them in person. You may have seen the name in your Facebook feed a million times over- but when directly asked what that name was suddenly your mind goes blank.
I work hard to build a relationship with my couples- they don’t know me as a company but by name as their friend so having the name of my company be my name started to make since. This was only the beginning.. I had a name but now I had to dig deep and really decide what parts of myself and my interests I wanted to reflect in my branding. Thanks to Pintrest this was made much easier but it still takes TIME. Hours and HOURS of time.
I owe a HUGE thanks to the crew at Flosites for all their hard work, answering questions, and helping me meet my deadlines… one of those being this weekend! I’ve learned that you can’t try to rush things like this… it’s kinda a big deal and it takes time- lots of time to make sure everything is just right.
So I was going to wait a few more weeks until the official launch of the new website… but I can’t keep it quiet anymore. We’ll be doing the Cobb Bridal show tomorrow as our first official debut of the new brand and name for our company. While everything remains the same- the name is changing but the experience we continue to provide our amazing and wonderful brides and grooms will only continue to improve as we continue to push ourselves to do and be the BEST.
So I’d love to introduce you to new face of Light Love Laughter Photography…
We’re still specializing in Wedding Photography- so we can provide our absolute best to each and every one of our brides and grooms. I’m so proud to present Tessa Marie Weddings to you… and SO excited about the changes that lie ahead. Currently there is a temporary webpage available. I can’t wait for the official launch of the actual site and blog- full of beautiful goodness… and loads of info. Seriously- it’s going to be AH-Mazing!!
So if you’re bored and tired of being INSDIE because it’s wet/rainy/gray/miserable outside then you should come see us at The Georgia Bridal Show tomorrow from 1-5pm at the Cobb Galleria. You’re bound to have a great time and I’d love to say HI!

This is an original sixpence that’s been in Rebecca’s family for many generations.
As we headed to take picture in front of the chapel I they walked through this small patch of light and so we stopped to take full advantage of such a phenomenal setting.. it’s not every day you find a beautiful couple on the top of the mountain and the sunlight being absolutely perfect!
