Ah Dedra and Michael… where do I even begin? I’d been looking forward to this wedding for months… ever since we met at Sunrise and Dedra and I both took turns yawning as we drove up the mountain to the House of Dreams to watch the sunrise… Michael on the other hand was wide awake- you would have thought it was 8 in the evening. It was obvious who the morning person was!
Dedra and Michael are absolutely one of the cutest and most fun couples I’ve had the honor to work with to date and I knew their wedding day would be extra special. They really weren’t looking for one another- they didn’t forsee they’d be getting married long ago- in fact Dedra was dating another guy when she met Michael. Their friends had tried to get them together but it wasn’t until they walked down the aisle as members of a mutual friends wedding that they finally met and Dedra knew she’d met someone special. God truly brought these two together and it didn’t take long before they knew they couldn’t live another day apart.
The morning was cloudy and a gray but the sun came out and gave them an absolutely beautiful Fall afternoon for their wedding. Dedra loves the color red and I loved the bright red shoes she chose to wear under her dress.

perfect timing. :)

Her mom took the honors of helping bustle her train and zip her dress.

Favorite bouquet shot to date.

Dedra- you were absolutely stunning and do radiant!

I love this one.. it has Dedra written all over it!

It nearly looks like a fake backdrop but I can assure you it’s real and it’s absolutely beautiful!

They chose to do a first look so we could take advantage of getting pictures around Berry College’s campus… I knew this would be a sweet moment full of wide open emotions and expressions… they didn’t disappoint. :)

absolutely LovE this!

Bursting into laughter is pretty much the norm for these two… Reason 989 I love them!

Ok… fabulous expressions must run in the family.

Just like the bride- the girls were all laughter, smiles and FUN.

and yet they could work it.. so much talent right here! Fabulously Fierce.

Priceless.

This is a great capture by my amazing friend who came all the way from Oklahoma to assist me with this wedding- Perfect Jaime!

Michael’s dad wore his spurs.

Their ceremony took place at the College Chapel- special because Dedra graduated from Berry and it’s where they had their first date- yep- she gave him a Full tour of the college campus she loves.

This was one of the sweetest ceremonies I’ve ever witnessed. There may have been tears behind the camera as Dedra’s brother (who served as the minister), choked back the tears as he asked his father to give his sister away to Michael. Priceless.

LOVE.

Relishing in the moment of being Married!

reason 10001 why I absolutely love this couple… Michael’s giant smile and laugh!

such a sweet first dance… and the Ford Dining hall is such a beautiful and unique venue for wedding receptions… amazing.
